Senior Architect, Technology I

What you'll do

• Provide expert consultation on application programming across various platforms, systems, and database tools.
• Develop architecture for new platform capabilities and build proofs of concept for stakeholder approval.
• Establish and enforce design standards while auditing code to ensure it meets acceptance criteria.
• Define release and deployment strategies including configuration management and CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage and govern technical architecture for Snowflake, Gen AI, and AWS products.
• Serve as principal architect by generating technological proposals and leading technical initiatives.
• Conduct formal research to identify technologies that solve business problems and improve patient experience.

What we're looking for

• Must have a BS in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Electronics, or another quantitative field.
• Must have 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer and Architect.
• Must have 5 years of experience spearheading design and deployment of robust data architectures using EMR, Hadoop, and Spark within AWS.
• Must have 5 years of experience developing applications with Python or Scala using object-oriented and functional programming.
• Must have 5 years of experience engineering batch and real-time streaming architectures using Apache Spark.
• Must have 5 years of experience implementing CI/CD pipelines via GitHub or Azure DevOps and optimizing workflows with Airflow or Autosys.
• Must have 2 years of experience architecting AWS solutions including S3, Glue, Athena, Lake Formation, API Gateway, Lambda, RDS, and IAM.
• Must have 2 years of experience establishing standards and governance for SQL databases using Redshift or Snowflake.
• Must have 1 year of experience preparing data reporting using Qlik, Tableau, or Power BI.
• Must have 1 year of experience developing Generative AI applications using Langchain, Llama Index, RAG, GraphRAG, and agent-based chatbots.
