The Senior Application Analyst - BTP Administration joins the Product Development team to manage, secure, and operate SAP Business Technology Platform services across enterprise landscapes. This role involves BTP account administration, security, connectivity, service enablement, and platform governance to ensure high availability and scalability. The analyst will perform impact analysis, build and test system changes, and resolve issues impacting application teams. Key responsibilities include designing and configuring business systems, managing quotas, and providing production support. Required technical skills include SAP BTP Administration, Cloud Foundry, Kyma environments, IAS/IPS, OAuth, SAML, and SAP BTP connectivity services like Cloud Connector and Destination Service. The role supports a migration to RISE with SAP and HANA 2025, focusing on platform performance and enabling business processes within a complex matrix environment.
Manage, secure, and operate SAP BTP services across enterprise landscapes.
Perform BTP account administration, security configuration, and service enablement.
Design and configure business systems for low to medium complexity applications.
Identify and resolve application issues impacting internal teams and end-users.
Lead the estimation of enhancement requests and guide workflow design.
Provide end-user production support and troubleshoot issues via tracking systems.
Create and maintain system documentation and internal process designs.
Liaise with business stakeholders and software vendors to align system changes with business needs.
What we're looking for
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
High School Diploma or GED with 12 years of relevant experience in lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree.
5+ years of experience developing or configuring technology solutions in an application analyst or project delivery role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and strong computer skills including internet navigation and email usage.
Experience configuring business systems software in a life sciences, health care, or related industry (preferred).
2+ years of hands-on experience with SAP BTP Administration, including global accounts, Cloud Foundry/Kyma, and service lifecycle management (preferred).
1+ years of experience in Security & Identity Management, including IAS/IPS, role collections, OAuth, and SAML (preferred).
1+ years of experience in Connectivity & Integration, including Cloud Connector, Destination Service, and Integration Suite (preferred).
