Senior Analyst, Search and Recommendations

What you'll do

• Analyze large-scale behavioral data to uncover customer preferences and system performance insights.
• Design and execute statistical tests to measure the impact of algorithm changes and new features.
• Partner with data scientists on model development, validation, and ongoing monitoring.
• Translate complex findings into clear narratives for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to track key metrics over time.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in Product, Strategy, Technology, and Operations.

What we're looking for

• 3+ years experience in an analytical role within e-commerce or similar data-rich environment
• Strong SQL skills and proficiency with Python for data manipulation and analysis
• Solid foundation in statistics, including hypothesis testing and experimental design
• Experience working with large datasets using tools like Spark or Databricks
• Ability to build reports in BI tools such as Tableau or PowerBI
• Clear communication skills for explaining complex analyses to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Genuine enthusiasm for understanding how search and recommendation systems work
