Security Engineering Internship

What you'll do

• Enhance the security of systems and products powering mobile, IoT, and connectivity devices.
• Protect real-world devices and systems from various cyber attacks.
• Work cross-functionally with engineers and stakeholders to secure complex infrastructure and applications.
• Perform threat modeling, security risk assessments, and vulnerability research.
• Conduct program analysis on source and binary code to identify security flaws.
• Implement exploit countermeasures and secure execution environments.
• Develop and maintain secure OS features, hypervisors, and secure boot processes.
• Execute incident response, threat hunting, and security architecture tasks.

What we're looking for

• Must be currently enrolled in a bachelor’s, master’s, or Ph.D. program in ECE, CS, Security, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Must be available for 11–14 weeks during Summer 2027 (May–September).
• Must have an expected graduation date of November 2027 or later.
• Candidates actively pursuing a degree with an anticipated graduation between November 2027 to June 2028 are preferred.
• Track 1 requires 1+ years of academic experience in computer systems security or embedded device security.
• Track 2 requires 1+ years of academic experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
• Track 3 requires programming experience in Java, C, C++, C#, Go, Python, PowerShell, Bash, or Perl.
