Wireless Systems Engineering Intern

What you'll do

• Innovate on CDMA Application Specific Integrated Circuits (ASICs).
• Architect, analyze, and simulate next-generation wireless networks.
• Design and develop test automation frameworks using Python.
• Perform systems performance analysis for cellular systems and network data.
• Develop software solutions using C, C++, or Matlab.
• Implement advanced communication protocols including 3GPP IMS, NAS, and MAC/RLC/PDCP.
• Apply AI/ML concepts to solve wireless domain challenges.

What we're looking for

• Must be currently enrolled in a bachelor’s, master’s, or Ph.D. degree program in computer engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field.
• Must be available for 11–14 weeks during Summer 2027 (May–September).
• Expected graduation date must be November 2027 or later.
• Must have at least 1 year of academic experience with programming languages such as C, C++, and Python.
• Enrollment in a Master’s or Ph.D. program in computer engineering or electrical engineering is preferred.
• Candidates with an anticipated graduation date between November 2027 and June 2028 are preferred.
• Knowledge of wireless standards (LTE, WiFi, 5G, UMTS), MIMO, OFDM, CDMA, and related communication theories is preferred.
