What you'll do

  • Lead concept of operation development and requirements analysis across various system levels.
  • Manage requirements traceability and develop comprehensive test plans to cover all requirements.
  • Execute design trades to support technical decision-making processes.
  • Lead formal design reviews including Preliminary Design Review (PDR) and Critical Design Review (CDR).
  • Lead the integration and testing of electro-optical/infrared systems and related hardware/software.
  • Perform data analysis, modeling, and simulation to support system development.
  • Evaluate customer needs to define performance requirements and ensure compatibility of all interfaces.
  • Identify and mitigate risks within the program while providing mentorship to junior engineers.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree with 15 years of experience, a graduate degree with 13 years of experience, or no degree with 19 years of experience.
  • Active US Government Secret Security Clearance.
  • Experience generating and managing requirements at various levels and flowing them down to sub-systems/sub-components.
  • Experience using DOORS and/or MBSE software such as CAMEO and MagicDraw.
  • Experience leading large space programs across the full system lifecycle.
  • Experience working on aerospace/defense systems including space payloads, spacecraft bus, ground systems, and environmental testing.
  • Experience with project management, data analysis, modeling, simulation, or ITAR/EAR projects (preferred).
  • U.S. citizens.
