What you'll do

  • Supervise and coach scheduling personnel to ensure accurate, updated project schedules aligned with production priorities.
  • Develop and maintain integrated project schedules using Primavera P6 software for ship repair and maintenance projects.
  • Monitor schedule performance metrics and analyze trends to improve resource utilization and workflow efficiency.
  • Identify schedule risks and resource constraints while recommending corrective actions to meet project milestones.
  • Support Earned Value Management System (EVMS) reporting and perform detailed schedule performance analysis.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional departments like Engineering, Production, and Project Management to resolve scheduling conflicts.
  • Prepare scheduling reports, dashboards, and presentations for management and project teams.
  • Develop and review technical documentation for Request for Pricing and bid deliverables.

What we're looking for

  • Five years of experience in scheduling, planning, project controls, production planning, or ship repair.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC) and required security clearance.
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 scheduling software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Knowledge of Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), Critical Path Method (CPM), and Earned Value Management System (EVMS).
  • Experience with NAVSEA scheduling requirements and applicable Standard Items.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related discipline (preferred).
  • Minimum of two years of supervisory or team leadership experience (preferred).
  • PMP or PSP certifications (preferred); experience supporting multiple concurrent projects in shipbuilding or manufacturing (preferred).
