Factory Services Supervisor

What you'll do

• Oversee all shared technical services including machining, hydrostatic testing, tooling fabrication, and 3D printing.
• Design and implement a scheduling methodology for the fair and efficient allocation of shared resources across multiple business lines.
• Act as the primary point of coordination to resolve resource conflicts and manage competing priorities between production teams.
• Supervise, develop, and assign work to technical staff including machinists, test technicians, and tooling specialists.
• Establish standard operating procedures, work request intake processes, and performance metrics for all shared services.
• Monitor utilization and throughput to forecast future demand and recommend necessary staffing or equipment investments.
• Provide regular status updates to leadership regarding resource utilization, scheduling performance, and risks to production timelines.

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment with exposure to technical support services like machining, testing, or tooling.
• 2+ years of experience in a supervisory or coordination role managing shared resources or cross-functional support teams.
• Demonstrated ability to build and manage scheduling or resource allocation processes in multi-program or multi-customer environments.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a track record of managing competing priorities across organizational boundaries.
• Experience standing up or improving operational processes in a scaling environment.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
• Experience in defense, aerospace, or government-contract manufacturing (preferred).
• Familiarity with machining, hydrostatic testing, 3D printing, scheduling tools, Lean/Six Sigma, or relevant degrees (preferred).
