RF Systems Integration and Test

What you'll do

• Perform bring-up, integration, and debugging of advanced PHY/MAC and beamforming radio systems for satellite communications.
• Architect, document, and execute 3GPP-based testing for satellite-to-ground networks in laboratory environments.
• Verify RF line-ups and trade link budgets for payloads in both RF and IF configurations.
• Test Doppler pre- and post-compensation techniques including CFO/SFO in LEO communication systems.
• Characterize system performance, analyze data, and root-cause complex system-level issues to ensure high product quality.
• Develop test bring-up procedures using Linux, Python, and Bash scripting to evaluate hardware and software changes.
• Utilize lab equipment such as spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and channel emulators to verify time and frequency requirements.
• Perform cross-functional integration and verification on FPGA platforms in collaboration with RF, ASIC, and firmware teams.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience in the electrical engineering field.
• 5+ years of professional experience working in L1/L2 or beamforming.
• Experience with RF lab equipment, bring-up, test, and integration activities.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, or lawfully admitted as a refugee or granted asylum.
• Master's or PhD degree with an emphasis in wireless communication systems (preferred).
• Proficiency in MATLAB, C/C++, and scripting languages such as Python or Perl (preferred).
• Knowledge of 3GPP NTN and ORAN for conformance testing (preferred).
• Export control laws and regulations, candidates.
