RF Engineer 6

What you'll do

• Design, select, test, and document RF power delivery systems ranging from 100 kHz to 100 MHz.
• Perform electrical engineering research to design and modify electrical and electro-mechanical systems and subsystems.
• Develop and evaluate custom and OEM embedded system components in coordination with suppliers.
• Prepare and analyze test plans and procedures to verify technical and operational requirements.
• Collect and analyze data to present findings during design, project, and program reviews.
• Evaluate vendor capabilities and select components based on reliability and technical specifications.
• Analyze equipment to establish operating data and conduct experimental tests to evaluate results.

What we're looking for

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree with 15 years of experience, a Master’s with 12 years, a PhD with 8 years, or equivalent experience.
• Must have hands-on experience with complex RF measurement equipment like power meters and network, impedance, and spectrum analyzers.
• Must have familiarity with high-voltage (>1 kV) design rules and practices from DC to 100 MHz.
• Must possess outstanding analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Must be proficient with AI tools.
• Must have excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Experience with PYTHON, MathCAD, MATLAB, SPICE, and electromagnetic modeling tools like HFSS, COMSOL, or CST Microwave Studio (preferred).
• Experience in or fundamental knowledge of plasma processing, plasma sources, and plasma loads (preferred).
