Senior RF Engineer

What you'll do

• Generate schematics for RF, analog, power circuits, interface logic, sensors, and peripherals.
• Create hardware designs focusing on discrete RF circuits, PAs, LNAs, and backends.
• Develop RF front ends operating from sub-GHz frequencies up to mmWave.
• Simulate circuit performance using ADS, CST, Spice, and other simulation software.
• Perform RF lineup calculations for Rx noise figures and Tx harmonic suppression.
• Optimize circuits for minimal current drain to maximize battery life.
• Use schematic and layout tools for PCB routing, high-speed interfaces, and impedance matching.
• Write test procedures, interface control documents, and other technical documentation.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Master's Degree (preferred).
• Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain necessary security clearance.
• 5+ years of RF Circuit design experience.
• Experience in discrete RF circuit design including amplifiers, transmitters, receivers, and synthesizers.
• Thorough understanding of RF test equipment and measurement tools like signal analyzers and oscilloscopes.
• Detailed understanding of RF circuit simulation tools (ADS, MATLAB, HFSS, CST, PSPICE, etc.) and lab automation (Python, LabView).
• Experience with schematic capture and layout tools, Cadence Allegro a plus (preferred).
• Wide breadth of hardware design experience including power supplies, A/D's, peripherals, batteries, and charging circuits (preferred).
• Understanding of antenna design, simulation tools, and measurements (preferred).
