RF Electromagnetic Engineer

What you'll do

• Design and develop RF passive components for integrated circuits in deep sub-micron CMOS and SOI technologies.
• Optimize component sizes and performance for integration into specific RF circuit blocks.
• Deliver physical designs that are DRC clean and include accurate compact models.
• Perform isolation analysis to reduce on-chip and chip-package-PCB coupling.
• Optimize multichip carriers for RF systems with a focus on loss and isolation.
• Utilize EM simulation tools to predict circuit-level electric and magnetic coupling.
• Extract RLCK models for multiport passive components.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Master's or PhD degrees are preferred.
• 4+ years of experience in RF and electromagnetic design, verification, or related work.
• Experience in system, package, or technology engineering is required based on education level (3+ years for Master's, 2+ for PhD).
• Experience designing and simulating RF passive components like inductors, transformers, MOM capacitors, and filters (preferred).
• Proficiency with EM simulation tools such as EMX, Helic, Peakview, HFSS, or Clarity (preferred).
• Experience with Cadence tools, Keysight ADS, and RLCK model extraction of multiport passive components (preferred).
• Ability to use EM tools to predict circuit level electric and magnetic coupling (preferred).
