RF Electromagnetic (EM) Engineer

What you'll do

• Design and develop RF passive components for highly integrated RFICs using CMOS and SOI technologies.
• Optimize component sizes and performance for specific RF circuit blocks.
• Deliver DRC clean physical designs and corresponding compact models for components.
• Execute isolation analysis to reduce on-chip, chip-package, and PCB coupling.
• Optimize multichip carriers for RF systems with a focus on loss and isolation.
• Use EM simulation tools to predict circuit-level electric and magnetic coupling.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Master's degree in Chemical, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
• PhD in Chemical, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
• 4+ years of RF and electromagnetic design, verification, or related work experience.
• 3+ years of System/Package Design/Technology Engineering experience with a Master's degree (preferred).
• 2+ years of System/Package Design/Technology Engineering experience with a PhD (preferred).
• Experience in design and simulation of RF passive components like inductors, transformers, and filters (preferred).
• Experience with EM solvers, Cadence tools, and Keysight ADS (preferred).
