As a Revenue Cycle Architect in the federal consulting space, you will lead revenue cycle integration, workflow design, and technical architecture across various solutions and venues. You will be responsible for influencing technical decisions, articulating operational and financial impacts to project teams, and participating in executive-level discussions regarding revenue cycle improvements. Your daily work involves managing project escalations, defining financial metrics with leadership, and facilitating clinically driven revenue cycle conversations. The role requires expertise in system design, conversion assessment, and workflow documentation. You will utilize specific tools including BedRock, PFTTools, ProfitBusinessManager, Olympus, CSPricingTool, CSChargeViewer, PowerChart, and DFT/HL7 interfaces. Additionally, you will work with 3M Encoder, Health Benefits Manager, Cerner Contract Management, and write Cerner Command Language queries to solve complex integration challenges between clinical applications and revenue cycle systems.
Lead revenue cycle integration, workflow, and technical design across all solution areas.
Articulate operational and financial impacts of technical decisions to client and project teams.
Participate in executive-level discussions regarding revenue cycle expectations and improvement opportunities.
Manage and resolve project escalations as the primary point of contact for leadership.
Define financial metrics and key performance indicators during system implementations.
Document workflows across various revenue cycle solution areas.
Facilitate clinically driven revenue cycle conversations to improve patient care processes.
Present complex technical information clearly to clients and stakeholders.
What we're looking for
U.S. citizenship is required due to client contracts.
Must be able to obtain the appropriate government security clearance card.
Minimum of 8 years combined related work experience and completed higher education.
At least 4 years of experience in healthcare information technology (HCIT) consulting, support, or other client-facing IT solution roles.
An additional 4 years of work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education.
Preferred Bachelor's Degree.
Experience in system design, build, conversion, current state assessment, and workflow documentation.
Knowledge of specific applications including BedRock, PFTTools, ProfitBusinessManager, Olympus, CSPricingTool, CSChargeViewer, PowerChart, and DFT/HL7 interfaces.
