The Reagent Manufacturing Engineer serves as the primary engineering interface for new product introductions and sustaining engineering for reagents at Beckman Coulter Life Sciences. Working within the Manufacturing and Operations Multifunction, this individual provides scientific and engineering expertise to ensure the successful transfer of products from development to manufacturing while maintaining robust, scalable processes. Day-to-day responsibilities include executing projects across cross-functional teams, developing process documentation such as validations, assembly drawings, work instructions, BOMs, and routings, and ensuring maintenance of measuring equipment. The role requires a technical background in design control processes, including feasibility, characterization, verification, validation, and design transfer. Candidates must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills and proficiency with ERP systems like Oracle. This position addresses the critical challenge of transitioning complex reagent products into stable manufacturing environments within regulated life sciences and biotechnology sectors.
