What you'll do

Own the entire manufacturing value chain for specific products or sets of products.
Develop novel tooling solutions for the fabrication and assembly of structural parts.
Create process flows by breaking down complex assemblies into logical subassemblies and processes.
Write technical documentation including work instructions, quality plans, and inspection requirements.
Manage contract manufacturers to develop repeatable processes for both rapid prototyping and large-scale production.
Build prototype hardware hands-on alongside technicians and other engineers.
Contribute to the mechanical and electrical design of hardware components like interconnects and PCBs.
Travel to suppliers to perform sourcing, resolve production issues, and implement quality procedures.

What we're looking for

Degree in a technical field such as engineering, math, or a hard science.
2+ years of experience in a relevant field, preferably manufacturing or design of electromechanical hardware.
Demonstrated ability to creatively deliver electromechanical hardware in a resource-constrained environment.
Demonstrated in-kind or direct team leadership skills with backing examples.
Personal experience physically manufacturing hardware through machining, fabrication, soldering, or assembly.
Must be a U.S. Person for access to export-controlled information and facilities.
Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
