JOB TITLE: R&D Engineer Software 3 The R&D Engineer Software 3 joins the Core Infrastructure team to develop products ensuring data operations for large banks, insurance companies, and retailers. Daily responsibilities include participating in design and code reviews, reviewing test plans, and developing automated test scripts to deliver high-quality software. Key technical requirements include proficiency in Assembler, REXX, and VSE macros, along with experience in VSE, z/VM, or z/OS platforms. What you'll do

Research and develop innovative new solutions to shape the future direction of Broadcom products.

What we're looking for

Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development.
BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent degree.
Prior experience as a developer in VSE, z/VM or z/OS platforms.
Strong Assembler skills.
Knowledge and related product expertise in one or more of the VSE subsystems, POWER and CICS.
Experience working in mainframe VSE environments - z/VM, VSE JCL (preferred).
Experience with mainframe VSE programming languages - Assembler and REXX, VSE macro (preferred).
