What you'll do

  • Communicate directly with traders, sales representatives, and other technology partners to meet client needs.
  • Develop low-latency trading solutions and algorithmic trading components.
  • Manage a mix of new and legacy systems using object-oriented programming principles.
  • Utilize AI tools like Claude Code or similar CLI tools to enhance development workflows.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
  • At least 6 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong knowledge of core/server-side Java development and object-oriented programming.
  • Experience with Fixed Income domain knowledge, specifically Rates (US Treasuries or Swaps).
  • Previous eTrading experience with B2C Exchanges or B2B Venues.
  • Previous experience in low latency development and algorithm development.
  • Proficiency with Claude Code or similar CLI AI tools.
  • Willingness to learn and work with other technologies like Python as required by business objectives.
