What you'll do

  • Develop and maintain software solutions for the fixed income electronic trading platform.
  • Take full ownership of assignments from initial requirements gathering through to final rollout.
  • Implement business logic, new services, and framework developments using core server-side Java.
  • Perform maintenance and bug fixes on a mixture of new and legacy systems.
  • Develop and execute QA automation for trading applications.
  • Communicate directly with clients including traders, sales representatives, and operations teams.
  • Develop algorithms and low-latency solutions for B2B venues or B2C exchanges.
  • Learn and utilize new technologies like Python or CLI AI tools as business objectives require.

What we're looking for

  • 9+ years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Strong knowledge of core/server-side Java development and object-oriented programming.
  • Fixed Income domain knowledge, specifically with Rates (US Treasuries or Swaps).
  • Experience with eTrading platforms, including B2C Exchanges or B2B Venues.
  • Previous Algo development experience (preferred).
  • Previous low latency development experience (preferred).
  • Experience with Claude Code or similar CLI AI tools (preferred).
