What you'll do

  • Gain expertise in components of an eTrading platform from requirements to rollout.
  • Develop new business logic, services, and maintain existing systems in Java.
  • Fix bugs, automate QA processes, and develop frameworks for the trading platform.
  • Communicate directly with clients including traders, sales representatives, and operations teams.
  • Work on low latency development and previous experience with eTrading platforms preferred.

What we're looking for

  • 6+ years of Java development experience in fixed income electronic trading
  • Strong core/server-side Java knowledge and object-oriented programming skills
  • Experience with Rates (US Treasuries or Swaps) in Fixed Income domain
  • Ability to communicate directly with clients, including traders and technology partners
  • Previous eTrading experience with B2C exchanges or B2B venues
  • Willingness to learn and work with other technologies like Python as needed
  • Claude Code or similar CLI AI tools proficiency
