Rapid Prototyping Mission Technology Lead

What you'll do

• Train, test, deploy, and maintain machine learning models to create mission-critical impacts.
• Define the direction of mission-critical solutions by applying best-fit ML algorithms and technologies.
• Develop, deploy, and manage AI agents capable of solving complex military missions.
• Conduct statistical analyses on business processes using machine learning techniques.
• Guide clients through the landscape of ML algorithms, tools, and frameworks.
• Implement Large Language Models (LLMs) and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures.
• Apply AI safety, guardrails, and responsible AI practices to all developed solutions.
• Manage agent planning, reasoning, and execution loops for automated systems.

What we're looking for

• 6+ years of experience in machine learning engineering, data science, data engineering, AI architecture, or software development.
• Experience developing applications using Large Language Models (LLMs) or RAG architectures.
• Experience with programming languages such as Python or Java.
• Experience with software design patterns.
• Knowledge of embedding models, vector databases, and semantic search.
• Knowledge of AI safety, guardrails, and responsible AI practices.
• Knowledge of agent planning, reasoning, and execution loops.
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
• Experience with keyboard technology development in cloud service providers such as Azure, AWS, or GCP (preferred).
• Experience integrating AI technology into digital solutions for the Department of War (preferred).
• Experience with LangGraph (preferred).
• Experience with model evaluation and AI quality metrics (preferred).
• Secret clearance (preferred).
• Master's degree in AI (preferred).
