Radar Technician

What you'll do

• Assemble mechanical and electrical components for cUAS radar products using hand and power tools.
• Follow detailed blueprints, schematics, and instructions to build complex systems.
• Integrate various subsystems into larger, functioning units while ensuring proper communication between components.
• Maintain detailed records of assembly processes, test results, and technical issues encountered.
• Perform functional checkouts and troubleshoot hardware or software issues during the testing process.
• Load firmware onto integrated digital systems as part of the integration workflow.
• Operate specialized test equipment such as oscilloscopes, vector network analyzers, and signal analyzers.

What we're looking for

• Must be able to obtain and hold a U.S. security clearance.
• 2+ years of experience in manufacturing performing mechanical and/or electrical assemblies (aerospace, electronics, or medical industry preferred).
• Proficiency with common hand tools, power tools, and specialized test equipment like multimeters and calipers.
• Working knowledge of common electrical components and ability to read wiring diagrams.
• Proficiency with standard computer applications and software.
• Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Experience testing RF systems, soldering, and using oscilloscopes or vector network analyzers (preferred).
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (Engineering, Math, Hard Science, Business, etc.) (preferred).
