The Radar Project Lead joins the IT Infrastructure and Operations team to lead complex radar capability development at Tobyhanna Army Depot. Serving as a senior technical project manager, the individual manages the end-to-end execution of radar initiatives, including planning, acquisition, engineering integration, testing, installation, and sustainment. Key responsibilities involve building Integrated Master Schedules, leading engineering assessments for radar test stations, and overseeing the integration of PXI systems, spectrum analyzers, and RF amplifiers. The role requires expertise in engineering coordination, program management, and risk mitigation using Lean and Six Sigma practices. The work focuses on supporting specific systems like Sentinel A4 and AN/TPY 4, while managing facility engineering for radar ranges, TMDE benches, and electrical upgrades to ensure mission-critical capabilities are delivered on time.
Lead end-to-end execution of radar capability projects from initial planning and design through installation and sustainment.
Direct capability development for specific radar systems including Sentinel A4, AN/TPY 4, and ARTS V3.
Build and manage Integrated Master Schedules incorporating equipment lead times, facility milestones, and calibration timelines.
Lead engineering assessments and facility integration for radar test stations, ranges, and engineering laboratories.
Oversee specification development and integration of PXI systems, spectrum analyzers, and advanced diagnostic systems.
Manage project risks, budgets, and technical documentation using Lean and Six Sigma practices.
Ensure all project activities comply with IPC, J STD, ESD, OSHA, NIST, and HazMat requirements.
Produce technical data packages, layout plans, utility reports, and system acceptance test plans.
What we're looking for
Must be a U.S. citizen.
Must currently possess and maintain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance.
Must have 7+ years of related experience.
Must have 5 or more years of technical project or program management experience in engineering, defense sustainment, electronics manufacturing, radar systems, or DoD capability development.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
Engineering degree is preferred.
PMP certification is preferred.
Experience with advanced RF test equipment, digital instrumentation, and diagnostic systems is preferred.
