Quality Systems Engineer

What you'll do

• Execute and coordinate internal and external audits of the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Manage the implementation and adoption of QMS software across multiple manufacturing sites.
• Develop new digital tools and processes to meet QMS requirements for production readiness.
• Contribute to the long-term roadmap for scaling quality tools and capabilities as the company grows.
• Conduct root cause analysis and corrective action activities following audit findings or customer visits.
• Create training modules and manage records for employees regarding quality procedures.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities for product quality and internal systems.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams on the production floor to ensure manufacturing standards are met.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of experience in aerospace and/or defense manufacturing.
• Working knowledge of QMS requirements and auditing in a complex product environment for standards such as ISO 9001:2015 or AS9100D.
• Familiarity with QMS software solutions including Net Inspect, Siemens, SAP, ETQ, One Factory, MasterControl, Compliance Quest, Hexagon, PTC, or QT9.
• Exposure to data analytics platforms, reporting tools, and basic data visualization.
• Understanding of project management principles for software system implementation and user onboarding.
• Familiarity with ERP, PLM, and BI systems.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Certification as an AS9100 aerospace auditor (preferred); one or more ASQ certifications (preferred).
