Quality Specialist

What you'll do

• Manage the site Materials Review Board (MRB) process and track related metrics weekly.
• Resolve nonconforming materials by providing containment, investigation, and root cause analysis.
• Create inspection plans for incoming, in-process, and end-of-line manufacturing steps.
• Train technicians and inspectors on inspection plans and data capture procedures.
• Develop and implement quality assurance policies and continuous improvement projects.
• Perform internal audits on manufacturing processes and procedures to ensure compliance.
• Analyze data and traceability to identify trends or inconsistencies impacting product quality.
• Execute vendor return material authorizations (RMA) in coordination with warehouse and buying teams.

What we're looking for

• Associate degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience is required.
• Must have 5+ years of experience in manufacturing or a quality/engineering related role.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment supporting hardware development and quality management is required.
• Proficiency with CAD software and inspection data management software is required.
• Experience using calibrated equipment such as calipers, micrometers, CMM, Faro arm, OMM, and other investigative tools is required.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings including wire diagrams, work instructions, and CAD files is required.
• Experience in a facility with AS9100, ISO9001, IATF 16949, or similar QMS standards is required.
• Must be able to obtain and hold a U.S. TS/SCI security clearance.
