What you'll do

Manage the site Materials Review Board (MRB) process and ensure accurate data entry for all actions.
Perform root cause analysis and disposition non-conforming materials in a timely manner.
Oversee internal rework processes and manage quality containment for material, tooling, and inspection equipment.
Create and execute inspection plans for incoming materials, in-process steps, and end-of-line products.
Train technicians and inspectors on how to execute inspection plans and capture accurate data.
Develop and implement quality assurance policies while identifying continuous improvement projects for production gains.
Conduct First Article Inspections (FAI) on incoming materials and coordinate the acceptance of supplier data.
Monitor and improve inspection processes by staying current with new technologies and techniques.

What we're looking for

Must have at least 3 years of experience in a quality role.
Experience in production support and quality management is required.
Proficiency in CAD software and inspection data management software is required.
Ability to use calibrated equipment such as calipers, micrometers, CMM, Faro arm, OMM, and others.
Knowledge of dimensioning and tolerancing as per Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerencing (GD&T).
Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings including wire diagrams, work instructions, and CAD.
Experience in a facility with AS9100, ISO9001, IATF 16949, or similar QMS standards.
Associates degree in related quality/mechanical/aerospace engineering field.
