What you'll do

  • Design comprehensive test scenarios for mail features and CI/CD integration.
  • Build Python-based testing tools for data generation, migration validation, and automated cleanup.
  • Develop black-box validation approaches to verify migration correctness through IMAP protocol.
  • Validate CalDAV protocol operations and iCalendar event handling across various types of events.
  • Test complex calendar scenarios including recurrence rules, timezone handling, and DST transitions.
  • Investigate and triage failures, working with development teams to reproduce issues and validate fixes.

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years experience in quality engineering, test automation, or software testing roles.
  • Deep expertise in email systems (IMAP, SMTP) OR calendar systems (CalDAV, iCalendar).
  • Proficiency in Python or Java with experience building test automation frameworks and APIs.
  • Demonstrated ability to write and maintain automated test plans for CI/CD integration.
  • Experience establishing data integrity verification procedures including message counts and content checksums.
  • Background in enterprise email administration or CalDAV server implementations.
  • Familiarity with RFC specifications: RFC 5545 (iCalendar), RFC 4791 (CalDAV).
