QA Engineer Lead - ALIP (On-site TX) serves as the primary onshore testing point of contact for business stakeholders, development teams, and offshore resources within the Life & Annuity Line of Business. The role involves verifying that mainframe applications and systems function as intended by creating, executing, and managing test scenarios to ensure compliance with functional standards and regulatory requirements. You will work daily with character-based mainframe screens, navigation, datasets, JCL, SDSF, and utilities while optimizing testing processes for efficiency. Key technical skills include experience with the ALIP platform, API testing, and automation frameworks like Selenium, Playwright, or RestAssured. Required tools include Jira, qTest, Azure DevOps, or Zephyr. The role addresses complex insurance product structures, including policy administration, underwriting, and claims, while ensuring compliance with NAIC, state DOI, and SOX standards.
