Software Quality Assurance Engineer, Assistant Vice President

What you'll do

• Drive test automation across multiple platforms, specifically for the AML Transaction Monitoring suite.
• Create test scenarios and implement automated functional test cases to serve as acceptance criteria.
• Develop and maintain automation test scripts using Python, Spark/PySpark, and SQL.
• Perform ETL, Data Warehouse, and Web UI testing for complex data applications.
• Research errors and work with developers to run test suites and identify bugs.
• Reproduce production problems with the support group to identify gaps in the regression test suite.
• Enhance the testing process by implementing new tools, strategies, and automation techniques.
• Define and maintain an acceptance testing cycle within an Agile process.

What we're looking for

• 7+ years of experience in Quality Assurance Testing.
• At least two years of focused Python-based automation development.
• Hands-on experience in ETL, DWH, and Web UI testing using Python.
• Strong hands-on experience with Databricks, PySpark, SQL (Analytical Functions and complex queries), and Entity Resolution.
• Excellent knowledge of the STLC process, including creating and executing automation/functional test plans and defect tracking.
• Good understanding of Agile methodology and Agile ceremonies.
• Bachelor’s degree with concentration in Computer Science, Engineering, or Technology (preferred).
• Experience in the Financial domain, specifically Anti-Money Laundering (AML) knowledge (preferred).
