Proto Engineer

What you'll do

• Operate and maintain test rigs for new product qualification, integration, and issue resolution.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and report issues in module designs to improve system performance.
• Execute integration activities including build-in and build-out processes on test rigs.
• Monitor test rig performance against set parameters and ensure hardware/software configurations remain up to date.
• Review and contribute to test plans to ensure efficient use of testing resources.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise to other engineering team members.
• Create product documentation necessary for the transition into pilot production.
• Manage shift handovers by communicating machine status and pending issue lists to the next team.

What we're looking for

• A BS degree in a technical field with 2+ years of experience, an MS degree with 1+ year of experience, or 6+ years of relevant technical experience.
• Experience troubleshooting complex systems and understanding how different sub-systems interact.
• Ability to identify, analyze, document, and manage requirements with traceability and clear specifications.
• Ability to develop engineering concepts, make technical tradeoffs, and resolve issues within performance and cost constraints.
• Ability to plan and execute verification and validation while ensuring qualification evidence supports release readiness.
• Ability to translate strategic goals into execution plans and deliver results on time.
• Must be legally authorized to access controlled technology as defined by U.S. Export Administration Regulations.
