Propulsion Functional Technician

What you'll do

• Perform manufacturing, assembly, and integration of propulsion subsystems according to engineering documentation and SOPs.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and perform root cause analysis for hardware defects.
• Conduct quality inspections on flight hardware components and document any discrepancies.
• Provide technical feedback to engineers regarding tooling, consumables, and process observations.
• Maintain and update internal standard operating procedures (SOPs) and documentation of process improvements.
• Support the development and training of new hires and peers within the department.
• Utilize MES and SAP systems for production tracking, traceability, and work order documentation.
• Lead process improvement initiatives to optimize manufacturing workflows and best practices.

What we're looking for

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of relevant aerospace/automotive manufacturing test experience or equivalent industry experience.
• 2+ years of hands-on work experience with electro-mechanical assemblies, final integration, and/or harness integration.
• 2+ years of experience in a fast-paced production environment with flight hardware.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with precision torque, measurement, and inspection devices.
• Proficiency in reading, interpreting, and working from engineering documentation and drawings.
• Ability to lift up to 49 pounds and perform physical tasks during shifts lasting up to 12 hours.
• Aircraft/powerplant certification, automotive certifications, or an Associate's degree (preferred); experience with FOD, ESD, clean rooms, MES software, RCA, 6S, Kaizen, or PCBA work (preferred).
