Propulsion Functional Technician

What you'll do

• Perform manufacturing, assembly, and integration of propulsion subsystems according to engineering documentation and SOPs.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and perform root cause analysis for production defects.
• Conduct hardware inspections and document discrepancies during first article builds.
• Provide technical feedback to engineers regarding tooling, consumables, and process observations.
• Maintain internal team SOPs and document improvements or changes in manufacturing processes.
• Support the development of new hires and peers through training programs.
• Utilize MES and SAP systems for production tracking, traceability, and work order documentation.
• Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency and quality standards.

What we're looking for

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of relevant aerospace/automotive manufacturing test experience or equivalent industry experience.
• 2+ years of hands-on work experience with electro-mechanical assemblies, final integration, and/or harness integration.
• 2+ years of experience in a fast-paced production environment with flight hardware.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with precision torque, measurement, and inspection devices.
• Proficiency in reading, interpreting, and working from engineering documentation and drawings.
• Ability to lift up to 49 pounds and perform physical tasks during shifts lasting up to 12 hours.
• Preferred qualifications include technical certifications, ESD/clean room experience, and proficiency with MES or SAP systems.
