Program Manager 3, VMS Hardware Manager

What you'll do

• Manage multiple suppliers to ensure they meet specific program objectives and contract requirements.
• Enforce subcontractor execution of the Statement of Work and support necessary contract modifications.
• Measure and report supplier performance as it relates to overall program performance.
• Negotiate contracts, specifications, operating budgets, schedule milestones, and key terms and conditions.
• Identify, distribute, track, and complete all program requirements.
• Develop and maintain program baselines using Earned Value Management or similar cost and schedule tools.
• Create and adhere to master plans, schedules, and internal company policies.
• Deliver professional presentations to customers, executive management, and other key stakeholders.

What we're looking for

• Must have a Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of related experience, or a Bachelor of Science in STEM and 9 years.
• Must have a Master’s degree and 8 years of related experience, or a Master of Science in STEM and 7 years.
• Must have an active US Government Secret clearance with a background investigation within the past 6 years or enrolled in Continuous Evaluation.
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance.
• Must have U.S. Citizenship.
• Must have demonstrated experience in a formal leadership role such as a Project Lead, Integrated Team Lead, or Cost Account Manager.
• Must have demonstrated experience with program management principles, including project management, scheduling, and budget management.
• Must have demonstrated experience managing or interfacing with suppliers.
• Experience with vehicle management systems, guidance and control systems, or flight and safety critical software (preferred).
• Experience managing multiple suppliers through contract award, design, and execution phases (preferred).
• Experience managing programs over $50 Million per year with P&L responsibilities (preferred).
• Experience leading cross-functional teams of 5 or more individuals (preferred).
• Experience using tools such as EVMS, IMP, IMS, or the Atlassian tool suite (preferred).
• Experience producing professional written communications and delivering verbal presentations to senior leadership (preferred).
