Production Program Manager, Space

What you'll do

• Own the integrated manufacturing and Assembly, Integration, and Test (AIT) schedule as the official record for multiple product lines.
• Drive weekly execution by leading cross-functional meetings to identify schedule slips and implement recovery plans.
• Define and monitor manufacturing KPIs from New Product Introduction through full rate production phases.
• Build and maintain a production cost model to inform decisions on design, operations, and resource allocation.
• Manage the risk register by quantifying exposure and driving mitigation strategies to closure.
• Serve as the primary authority for conducting manufacturing and AIT gates in coordination with program managers.
• Integrate engineering and test processes into the program plan to ensure all work is correctly funded.
• Represent production interests by providing data for proposals and briefing leadership on status and readiness.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in program, project, or production management in aerospace, space, defense, or complex hardware industries.
• 3+ years of experience owning schedule and execution for a hardware program.
• Must possess and be able to maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
• Active U.S. Top Secret security clearance (preferred).
• Experience managing programs through New Product Introduction into rate production with associated readiness gates (preferred).
• Experience building or owning production cost models to drive decisions on capacity, make/buy, or resource allocation (preferred).
• PMP, Agile, Lean, or Six Sigma credentials and fluency in Jira, Confluence, and Smartsheet (preferred).
