As a Product Transformation Coach - VP III - State Street Investment Management, you will join the Product Transformation team to accelerate the adoption of a product-centric operating model across the organization. You will provide hands-on coaching to leaders, product managers, and cross-functional teams to embed product management disciplines, customer-centric behaviors, and outcome-driven execution practices. Your daily responsibilities include facilitating workshops on discovery and prioritization, developing playbooks and learning programs, and identifying barriers to adoption. You will guide teams in defining vision, roadmaps, and value propositions while transitioning them from project-oriented work toward persistent product ownership. The role requires expertise in coaching, facilitation, change management, and agile methodologies. You will utilize skills in stakeholder influence and workshop design to support pilots and scale the operating model within a complex financial services environment involving business, technology, and risk functions.

What you'll do

  • Coach product leaders and cross-functional teams on product management principles and operating models.
  • Guide teams in defining product vision, roadmaps, prioritization strategies, and measurable outcomes.
  • Facilitate workshops for discovery, roadmap planning, and translating strategic intent into team actions.
  • Design and deliver role-based training, playbooks, templates, and communities of practice.
  • Assess organizational barriers to adoption and recommend practical improvements for delivery friction.
  • Coach executives on leadership behaviors, decision-making, and accountability in a product-centric environment.
  • Track adoption metrics, team health indicators, and continuous improvement measures.
  • Support the integration of AI-enabled tools and modern product delivery practices.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, management, organizational development, technology, engineering, or a related field required.
  • 7+ years of experience in product management, product coaching, transformation leadership, organizational effectiveness, agile coaching, or related disciplines.
  • Demonstrated experience coaching cross-functional teams and leaders through adoption of product management practices and new ways of working.
  • Strong knowledge of product vision, discovery, customer research, value propositions, roadmaps, prioritization, OKRs, product metrics, and lifecycle management.
  • Excellent facilitation, workshop design, coaching, mentoring, and stakeholder influence skills.
  • Experience developing and delivering role-based training, playbooks, communities of practice, and capability-building programs.
  • Ability to diagnose organizational and team barriers and translate observations into practical interventions and measurable improvements.
  • Experience with product operating model implementations, transformation pilots, AI-enabled tools, or relevant certifications is preferred.
