As a Product Reliability Engineer, you will join the Product Reliability team to bridge the gap between development engineering, manufacturing, and customers by identifying and resolving fielded product issues. You will analyze failure data for Mobile Video products, perform Linux-based device log analysis, and conduct in-office testing on field returns to provide development engineers with specific reproduction instructions. Your daily work involves using lab equipment like volt meters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and power supplies to identify root causes through Electrical and Mechanical Stress Testing, as well as Shock, Drop, Vibration, and Environmental testing. You will apply DOE and FMEA methods while reading schematics and technical drawings for battery and energy products. The role requires strong communication skills to document results and present findings to management while solving complex hardware reliability problems in the field.
