Product Owner, Simulation

What you'll do

• Manage the planning and execution of project team members to ensure on-time, under-budget, and error-free delivery.
• Create and manage the Product Backlog by prioritizing features based on business value for the life of the project.
• Communicate product vision and backlog priorities clearly to the Scrum Team and Technical Product Management teams.
• Act as the primary decision-maker regarding feature selection and technical requirements for the product.
• Develop and maintain project management schedules using professional tools, tracking charts, and reporting software.
• Manage change control processes by identifying, evaluating, and documenting changes in the production environment.
• Identify root causes of problems and manage error control to ensure successful resolution of technical issues.
• Support projects through all stages including concept, prototype, pilot, implementation, and follow-up.

What we're looking for

• Candidates must have 5+ years of direct product ownership experience working with software engineering teams in an agile environment.
• Extensive experience using Azure DevOps is required.
• Knowledge of decision-making processes, organizational leadership, and program management techniques is required.
• Proficiency in change control, problem management, and project management tools and techniques is required.
• Knowledge of vehicle simulation, sensor simulation, terrain simulation, scenario generation, digital twins, and simulation validation (preferred).
• PMP certification (preferred).
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) (desired).
• Knowledge of Confluence or Power BI (desired).
