Product Owner, Data Engineering

What you'll do

• Manage project planning and execution to ensure completion on time, within budget, and error-free.
• Create and manage the Product Backlog based on business value for the life of the project.
• Communicate product priorities and vision clearly to the Scrum Team and Technical Product Management team.
• Act as the primary decision-maker regarding feature selection and product roadmap.
• Develop and maintain project management schedules using professional tools and tracking techniques.
• Lead various project teams through stages from concept and prototype to pilot and implementation.
• Manage change control processes to identify, evaluate, and document changes in the production environment.
• Identify root causes of problems and manage error control to ensure successful resolution.

What we're looking for

• Candidates must have 5+ years of direct product ownership experience working with software engineering teams in an agile environment.
• Extensive experience using Azure DevOps is required.
• Knowledge of decision-making processes, organizational leadership, and program management techniques is required.
• Ability to manage change control, problem management, and project scheduling tools is required.
• Knowledge of data ingestion, connectivity, ontology, annotation architecture, quality frameworks, and lifecycle is preferred.
• PMP certification is preferred.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) is desired.
• Knowledge of Confluence and Power BI is desired.
