Product Owner, Data Engineering

What you'll do

• Manage project planning and execution to ensure tasks are completed on time, within budget, and error-free.
• Create and maintain the Product Backlog by prioritizing items based on business value.
• Communicate clear product vision and priorities to the Scrum Team and Technical Product Management team.
• Act as the primary decision-maker regarding specific features and functionality for the product.
• Develop and manage project schedules using professional tools, tracking charts, and reporting software.
• Lead the project through all stages from initial concept and prototype to pilot and implementation.
• Manage change control processes to ensure updates are identified, evaluated, and documented effectively.
• Identify root causes of problems and implement timely resolutions for production environments.

What we're looking for

• Must be based in Dallas, TX.
• Extensive experience using Azure DevOps is required.
• 5+ years of direct product ownership experience working with software engineering teams in an agile environment (preferred).
• Knowledge of data ingestion, connectivity, ontology, annotation architecture, quality framework, lifecycle, and storage (preferred).
• PMP certification (preferred).
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) (desired).
• Knowledge of Confluence (desired).
• Knowledge of Power BI (desired).
