What you'll do

  • Define and execute long-term product strategies and roadmaps aligned with business objectives and customer needs.
  • Create detailed Product Requirements Documents (PRDs) including feature specifications and pricing models.
  • Conduct business case, ROI analyses, and market research to guide investment and development decisions.
  • Partner with engineering teams to ensure designs are scalable, manufacturable, and meet technical requirements.
  • Track key performance metrics and success indicators to ensure high-performing optical systems meet goals.
  • Lead margin optimization efforts through design improvements and make-vs-buy decisions.
  • Gather customer insights from field operations to validate needs and refine product offerings.
  • Act as a product evangelist to communicate strategy and goals to internal and external stakeholders.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Robotics, Computer Science, Business, or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Product Management, Program Management, or Systems Engineering for rugged, high-performance sensing systems.
  • Proven ability to lead end-to-end product development from strategy and design through execution and commercialization.
  • Strong technical understanding of hardware-software systems including computer vision, AI/ML, autonomy, networking, and embedded systems.
  • Experience working with government, defense, or aerospace customers and familiarity with DoD procurement processes.
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
  • Preferred experience in military operations, surveillance, or force protection.
  • Preferred experience with supply chain, manufacturing, and optical or infrared systems.
