Product Line Management

What you'll do

• Own and control product change management including unreleased product approvals and Engineering Change Orders.
• Implement Part Change Notifications in coordination with Global Product Support.
• Ensure the accuracy of customer shipped configurations and Bills of Materials (BOM).
• Manage common modules roadmaps and component roadmaps including part obsolescence and cost reductions.
• Facilitate intercompany communication to align on product strategies, pricing, and spare level contents.
• Manage strategic vendor issues and all product changes occurring after release.
• Provide guidance to Engineering and Business Units regarding field service impacts of part or supplier changes.

What we're looking for

• Owns product change management, including unreleased product approval, ECO approval, and PCN implementation.
• Ensures accuracy of customer shipped configurations and Bill of Materials (BOM).
• Manages component roadmaps including part obsolescence, replacements, alternative vendors, and cost reduction.
• Facilitates intercompany communication to align on product strategies, pricing, and spare level contents.
• Manages all changes to the product after release driven by engineering, quality, safety, or customer demands.
• Demonstrates conceptual and practical expertise in own discipline and basic knowledge of related disciplines.
• Solves complex problems by taking new perspectives and exercising judgment based on multiple sources of information.
• Explains difficult or sensitive information and works to build consensus.
