The Lead, Product Line Management oversees cross-functional teams to manage one or more product lines within the NextGen Tactical Datalinks Link 16 business area. This role manages cost and schedule requirements from proposal through distribution, designing technical enhancements while integrating research, manufacturing, marketing, sales, and service functions. Key responsibilities include managing product lifecycles, variant management, production planning, and field performance. The individual will create roadmaps, perform competitive intelligence analysis, and determine value-based pricing. Required skills include experience with EVMS principles, managing cross-functional programs for Government and DoD Primes, and understanding Link 16 Tactical Datalinks. The role solves complex technical problems by translating customer Concept of Operations and requirements into engineering efforts for product research, development, validation, manufacturing, integration, and test activities.
Lead cross-functional teams across production, finance, engineering, quality, and configuration management disciplines.
Manage product lifecycle requirements including cost, schedule, variant management, and production planning.
Interface with customers to define Concept of Operations, use cases, and market demands for product roadmaps.
Partner with Internal Research and Development to design, develop, and launch new product features.
Create market landscapes, competitive intelligence analyses, and value-based product pricing.
Develop marketing materials, launch plans, and sales tools to promote products to internal and external customers.
Manage budgets for product improvements, defect resolutions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Resolve internal performance issues arising from engineering designs or production operations.
What we're looking for
Must have a Bachelor’s Degree with 10 years of relevant experience, a Graduate Degree with 8 years of related experience, or 14 years of experience without a degree.
Ability to obtain a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Clearance.
Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
Knowledge of Link 16 Tactical Datalinks and products (preferred).
Experience managing programs using EVMS principles (preferred).
Experience managing cross-functional product-based programs for the Government, DoD Primes, and International Customers (preferred).
Experience with multiple phases of the program capture and execution lifecycle (preferred).
