Common Platform PLM

What you'll do

• Own and control product change management (PCM), including unreleased product approval and Engineering Change Orders (ECO).
• Implement Part Change Notifications (PCN) in coordination with Global Product Support.
• Ensure the accuracy of customer shipped configurations and Bills of Materials (BOM).
• Manage component roadmaps regarding part obsolescence, replacements, alternative vendors, and cost reductions.
• Manage all product changes occurring after release driven by engineering, quality, safety, or supply obsolescence.
• Track CSG-related obsolescence and coordinate ECR cut-ins for FEP products.
• Manage strategic vendor issues and facilitate intercompany communication on product strategies and pricing.

What we're looking for

• Demonstrates conceptual and practical expertise in own discipline and basic knowledge of related disciplines.
• Has knowledge of CSG Common platforms used by FEP including Producer and Centura ACP.
• Has some knowledge on AMAT internal EFEM: 6.xA and 6.xN FI.
• Tracks all CSG related Obs and implementation plans on FEP Products.
• Follows all CSG ECRs which impact FEP Products and coordinates ECR cut in and related PCNs.
• Solves complex problems and exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
• Explains difficult or sensitive information and works to build consensus.
• Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience and may lead small projects with manageable risks.
