Senior Product Engineer Java Springboot

What you'll do

• Architect, design, and implement large-scale distributed systems and microservices using Java Spring Boot.
• Develop and manage REST APIs including documentation, versioning, and security protocols like OAuth and SAML.
• Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration, delivery, and deployment.
• Write high-quality code using test-driven development (TDD) and unit testing for full coverage.
• Manage the performance, stability, and success of digital products in production environments based on KPIs.
• Provide technical input during inception meetings and contribute to product backlog planning with product managers.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on specific business domains and technology stacks across the organization.
• Mentor team members by leading daily practices such as paired programming and technical knowledge sharing.

What we're looking for

• Candidates should have 3 or more years of experience preferred.
• Experience in developing REST APIs using Java Spring Boot is required.
• Experience architecting and delivering large-scale distributed systems and MicroServices for the cloud is required.
• Knowledge of web and API security including OAuth, OWASP, OpenID, and SAML is required.
• Experience with backend development, MongoDB, caching, and Kafka messaging is required.
• Proficiency with Git, Maven/Gradle, and Jenkins or similar CI tools is required.
• Experience working in Agile environments and using test-driven development (TDD) is required.
• Knowledge of Python is considered a plus.
