What you'll do

Develop, test, and deliver secure, high-quality software solutions using Java and J2EE.
Apply Extreme Programming (XP) practices including test-driven development and paired programming.
Design systems and applications that meet specific technical and business requirements.
Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment practices for production environments.
Provide production support for software products currently in use by customers.
Serve as a subject matter expert for specific business domains during cross-functional meetings.
Coach and mentor junior engineers on software development best practices and XP methodologies.

What we're looking for

3+ years of experience developing software using Java and J2EE.
1+ year applying Test Driven Development (TDD) and Extreme Programming (XP) practices in an Agile environment.
Strong understanding of computer science concepts and object-oriented design principles.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as IntelliJ IDEA, GitHub, Jenkins, SonarQube, Gradle, or Maven.
Proficiency in testing tools including Postman, Bruno, or SoapUI.
Experience with quality and security scanning tools like Sonar, Fortify, or Contrast.
Working knowledge of messaging systems such as Kafka or similar technologies.
Experience developing REST APIs, working with databases, Spring Boot, and cloud platforms (preferred).
