The Principal/Sr. Principal CIDO IT Program Manager joins the Chief Information and Digital Office team to support the Advanced Systems organizational unit within the Mission Systems Airborne Multifunction Sensors Division. This role involves leading cross-functional teams in a matrixed structure to ensure the timely, cost-effective delivery of IT and Cybersecurity services aligned with enterprise strategy. The manager oversees the design, development, integration, testing, technical quality, budget, and scheduling for digital solutions while actively identifying and retiring technical debt. Key competencies include project management, workload forecasting, and experience with ServiceNow for tracking requests. The role requires familiarity with Artificial Intelligence, Agile practices, Lean Six Sigma methodologies, and data science principles. This position addresses the critical need for secure, integrated multi-domain systems within a complex aerospace and defense technology environment.
Deliver IT and Cybersecurity services in alignment with enterprise strategy and technology roadmaps.
Manage daily priorities for the design, development, integration, and testing of digital solutions.
Oversee technical quality, system performance, budget, and schedules for Advanced Systems programs.
Drive the implementation and adoption of standardized digital solutions while identifying and retiring technical debt.
Act as a primary liaison between the Chief Information and Digital Office and the NGMS division.
Lead cross-functional support teams within a matrixed organizational structure to meet business objectives.
Communicate complex technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
What we're looking for
Must possess an active U.S. Government Secret level security clearance or be enrolled in the Continuous Evaluation Program.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Special Access Program (SAP/SAR) clearance.
U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
For Level 3: Associate’s degree with 7 years experience, Bachelor’s with 5 years, or Master’s with 3 years of relevant experience.
For Level 4: Associate’s degree with 10 years experience, Bachelor’s with 8 years, Master’s with 6 years, or PhD with 4 years of relevant experience.
Proven IT project management experience and demonstrated leadership skills in planning, scheduling, and workload forecasting.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders from technical to executive levels.
Experience with customer satisfaction, continuous improvement tools like ServiceNow, Agile practices, or Lean Six Sigma (preferred); familiarity with AI (preferred).
