TL;DR · Principal TPM, Business Insights

JOB TITLE: Principal TPM: Business Insights (Hybrid - Seattle, WA) The Principal Technical Program Manager, Business Insights joins the Customer Success team to ensure business partners successfully adopt the new Business Insights platform. This senior, individual-contributor role involves owning rollout readiness, customer success deliverables, and the operating rhythm for platform migration. You will lead cross-functional efforts with Product, Engineering, Analytics, and business leaders to transition from legacy reports to new tools. Key responsibilities include defining readiness gates, creating onboarding playbooks, and building scorecards to measure adoption and data trust. You must utilize skills in technical program management, organizational change management, and data analytics. The role solves the business problem of reducing manual reporting efforts and increasing data reliability by managing complex dependencies across data pipelines, semantic layers, and BI tools to ensure a seamless technology modernization.

What you'll do

  • Define and execute rollout readiness gates for data, tooling, training, and communications across business domains.
  • Own the integrated rollout plan and sequencing to balance partner capacity against delivery capacity.
  • Create partner onboarding playbooks, adoption plans, and support models for new platform usage.
  • Develop and maintain a scorecard to measure partner burden, data trust, and qualitative success goals.
  • Manage day-to-day adoption relationships with business partners through regular check-ins and feedback loops.
  • Translate the business vision into quarterly plans with specific owners, milestones, and reporting rhythms.
  • Identify and mitigate risks and dependencies across Product, Engineering, and Analytics teams.
  • Mentor program managers and cross-functional partners on planning skills and judgment under ambiguity.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in technical program management leading large-scale, cross-functional programs.
  • Experience leading adoption or migration of data, analytics, or BI platforms, including retiring legacy tools.
  • Proven track record of building adoption and success metrics for leadership reporting.
  • Demonstrated ability to run partner or customer-facing rollouts and manage expectations during plan changes.
  • Experience leading organizational change management using Prosci, ADKAR, or equivalent methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder skills with proven influence without formal authority.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with familiarity with data pipelines, semantic layers, and BI tools.
  • Experience with both waterfall and agile delivery, as well as portfolio and collaboration tools.
  • Experience mentoring program managers and building organizational capability.
  • Retail background (preferred).
  • Experience with large-scale technology modernization (preferred).
