Principal Systems Engineer, Cardiac Ablation Solutions

What you'll do

• Conduct interface testing within the system and during commercial support phases.
• Integrate medical systems into Electrophysiology cath lab hospital environments.
• Create integration, characterization, troubleshooting, training, and guidance documentation for cross-functional teams.
• Apply systems engineering principles to identify and implement improvements in team processes.
• Provide technical expertise to marketing, field engineering, and training departments.
• Propose and implement changes to improve internal systems and operational procedures.

What we're looking for

• A Bachelor's degree with at least 7 years of relevant experience is required.
• A Master's degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience is required.
• A PhD with at least 3 years of relevant experience is required.
• Advanced understanding of Electrophysiology and comfort in a hospital environment (preferred).
• Experience in Systems Engineering including defining systems architecture within medical device product development (preferred).
• Experience with the application of Design Controls for medical devices (preferred).
• Demonstrated ability to create strategies and influence cross-functionally (preferred).
• Work authorization at the time of hire and for the duration of employment.
