As a Principal Solution Engineer, Data & AI, Dallas Innovation Hub, you will drive robust AI transformation by designing and implementing scalable, secure architectures that integrate various technologies across the cloud platform. You will lead customer engagements through business envisioning, architecture design sessions, and rapid prototyping to validate technical choices against identified risks. Your daily work involves prioritizing use cases via design thinking workshops, orchestrating cross-functional teams, and serving as a trusted voice on AI trends. You will build solutions utilizing Fabric Data platform, AI Foundry, Copilot Studio, Large Language Models, prompt engineering, and agentic architectures while ensuring data governance and security. The role focuses on solving complex business problems by creating high-performance analytics, real-time intelligence, and sustainable AI transformations using Azure services to deliver measurable value in a consulting capacity.
Deliver technical engagements including business envisioning, architecture design sessions, and rapid prototyping to demonstrate capabilities.
Lead AI transformation journeys by prioritizing use cases through design thinking workshops for customers.
Develop comprehensive solution architectures that are scalable, secure, and optimized for performance based on customer requirements.
Execute a strategic vision for AI initiatives across targeted accounts aligned with organizational goals.
Integrate capabilities across the entire cloud platform to identify synergies and optimize cross-platform integration.
Maintain deep technical expertise in data platforms, analytics, and AI services like Fabric and AI Foundry.
Create scalable, field-relevant assets through participation in internal technical communities.
Connect technical capabilities to sales opportunities by serving as a trusted advisor to account teams.
What we're looking for
Must have 7+ years of technical pre-sales or consulting experience, OR a Bachelor's degree plus 6+ years of experience, OR a Master's degree plus 4+ years.
Must have authorization to work in the United States that does not require employer sponsorship.
Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect designing and implementing large-scale, complex solutions for business goals.
Experience with cloud/hybrid infrastructures, architecture designs, migrations, and industry standards.
Expertise in designing architectures and hands-on experience building and deploying AI, including Copilot Studio, LLMs, and prompt engineering.
Proficiency in data warehouse/lake solutions, data governance, security, real-time intelligence, and analytics.
Relevant certifications such as AI-102, DP-600, DP-700, or other domain-relevant certifications (preferred).
