What we're looking for

Ability to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check.
Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field and 8+ years of technical engineering experience (preferred).
4+ years of people management experience (preferred).
Proven track record of mentoring engineers into senior and principal contributors (preferred).
Experience operating distributed services with strong reliability, availability, and performance targets (SLAs/SLOs) (preferred).
Background designing or scaling data platforms, analytics, or large-scale storage and compute systems (preferred).
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills to drive alignment in ambiguous environments (preferred).
