What you'll do

  • Design and deliver large-scale, cloud-native applications using full-stack engineering and service-oriented design principles.
  • Implement scalable, decoupled, and event-driven architecture patterns to ensure high-performance and resilient systems.
  • Develop applications for complex projects, components, and subsystems while meeting project goals on-time and on-budget.
  • Drive the adoption of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing practices to ensure production readiness and security.
  • Translate complex business objectives into well-structured technical solutions and provide technology evaluation estimates.
  • Perform independent technical and functional analysis for multiple projects supporting various divisional initiatives.
  • Establish full project life cycle plans and coordinate complex schedules for multiple projects across various platforms.
  • Mentor junior team members and advise senior management on technical strategy and risk management.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Information Systems, or a related field and five years of experience as a Principal Software Engineer/Developer.
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Information Systems, or a related field and three years of experience as a Principal Software Engineer/Developer.
  • Experience designing, developing, and maintaining customer-facing Web applications and services in a financial or retail services environment.
  • Expertise in Java, Spring framework, Angular, and JavaScript for designing and maintaining customer-facing Web applications and services.
  • Expertise in designing and implementing Cloud-based software solutions using RESTful Web services architecture and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
  • Expertise in developing secure Web applications using MVC architecture, Azure SSO, AWS KMS, and OAuth technologies.
  • Expertise in developing distributed, low-latency, high-throughput systems using Cartographer, Mario, and Rushhour while adhering to Test Driven Development (TDD) and Agile.
  • Expertise in CI/CD, version control, and monitoring using Jenkins, NPM, Maven, Git, Jira, Service Now, Quality Center, Splunk, and DataDog.
