What you'll do

  • Design and develop full-stack, cloud-based mission applications to support national security operations.
  • Architect and implement microservices, APIs, and data pipelines to process disparate data sources into actionable insights.
  • Develop custom algorithms for decision support, analytics, and automated reasoning.
  • Build web-based user interfaces that integrate with backend processes and databases.
  • Perform make/buy analyses to evaluate commercial solutions and COTS/GOTS components.
  • Integrate custom analytic tools and decision support capabilities into enterprise architectures.
  • Manage the full software lifecycle including design, testing, deployment, and maintenance of fielded systems.
  • Mentor junior engineers and lead the development of critical application components.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering with 5 years of experience, Master's with 3 years, or a Ph.D.
  • Demonstrated experience developing software solutions using Python, C, or C++.
  • Proven experience with the full lifecycle of software engineering including operations and maintenance of fielded systems.
  • Experience leading development of an important part of an application and mentoring junior engineers.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance (preferred).
  • Advanced degree in Computer Science or Engineering (preferred).
