What you'll do

Develop and maintain source code for mission-critical flight service and air traffic systems.
Design and implement containerized applications within an Agile/SAFe development environment.
Utilize AI-assisted tools to accelerate coding, refactoring, debugging, and test creation.
Write and execute unit and functional tests using tools like Junit and Mockito.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in both lab and operational environments.
Develop web applications using Java, Spring Boot, and front-end technologies like React.
Manage the work of other technical staff to ensure high-impact project results.
Communicate with executive leadership regarding matters of significant importance to the organization.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field with 12-15 years of experience, or a Master's degree with 10-13 years of experience.
In-depth knowledge and substantial hands-on programming experience with Java.
Extensive experience with web development using React, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Significant experience with Spring Framework, Spring Security, Spring Boot, and Linux systems.
Significant experience with unit testing tools like Junit and Mockito, as well as RESTful API, JSON, XML, and XSD.
Experience working within the Agile Scrum framework and using version control systems like Git or Subversion.
Ability to lead and manage the work of other technical staff.
Must be a U.S. citizen capable of obtaining and maintaining a Public Trust (Tier 2) suitability determination.
